PLAGIARISM POLICY

All articles entered in the Journal of Madako Elementary School before publication will be screened for plagiarism using Turnitin Software with a maximum similarity level limit of 20%. When plagiarism is identified by the Plagiarism Checker software, the Editorial Board is responsible for reviewing the paper and will approve measures according to the level of plagiarism detected in the article as follows:

 

Minor Plagiarism

A small sentence or short paragraph from another manuscript is plagiarized without any important data or ideas taken from other papers or publications. A warning is given to the author via a request to amend the manuscript or properly cite the original source.

 

Intermediate Plagiarism

Important data, paragraphs, or sentences from an article plagiarized without proper citation from the original source can be rejected for publication with a plagiarism similarity of between 21% and 35%.

 

Severe Plagiarism

Most of the articles are plagiarism which involves many aspects such as reproducing the original results of research finding data, formulas, equations, statements, ideas, and methods presented in other publications. Judging from the range of similarity, the level of plagiarism is above 36%. With sanctions, article manuscripts submitted by authors can be automatically rejected and authors are prohibited from submitting further articles to this journal.
